Hey, please read this section “HYGIENE & MILK”carefully, something that cannot be overlooked even if you trust us more than your friend.
HYGIENE,
AT DESIGO FARMS
Before we begin,
Hygiene is divided into three phases at every farm.
These phases are: hygiene before milking, at the time of milking, and thirdly, after milking. Each phase has its own importance in maintaining the overall hygiene.
Many people nowadays associate hygiene with the use of machines and untouched-by-hand practices. It's not entirely the people's fault, but rather the milk companies that have found a way to market themselves through concepts like "untouched by hands" and "machine-milked.
We were fed up by the milk industry who were polluting the market and the minds of our society by communicating false claims, selling bullhist under the label “ORGANIC”
Brainwash,
If milk is really orgainc and nutrual, its nutriton value and texture cannot remain the same throught the year
Firstly, our roots and traditions don't allow us to treat cows as milk-giving machines. Different cows have different milking needs. Looking back at ancient Indian history, Indian Desi cows were never subjected to these methods. They were nurtured like family members, loved, pampered, and even worshipped. We believe in treating cows with respect, not exploiting them.
Imagine a milk-sucker machine attached to a human mother's breasts. How would a mother feel? Comfortable? Never. She would be stressed and emotionally distressed.
Secondly, while machine milking might seem faster but hand milking can actually be cleaner. Machine parts require extremely careful cleaning to avoid spreading germs between cows. While, with hand milking, you can closely examine the udder before milking, allowing for early detection of any problems. Additionally, gentle hand massage promotes better milk flow and may even prevent udder infections. Clean hands are, of course, essential for hand milking, but done properly, it's a wonderful way to connect with the cow and obtain delicious, clean milk.
Since you might be interested, we hand-milk our Desi cows. If you're concerned about hygiene, particularly the farm environment, we've attached some live footage and photos below for your reference.
Specialised RTCOM Milk chillers at every Desigo Certified farm, to ensure no harmful bacteria growth in the milk , right after milking.
After 4.6 years of successful research and development, the RTCOM project has implemented specialized milk chillers on every farm. These sustainable chillers run for 12-24 hours on low power, maintaining temperatures below 3 degrees Celsius to prevent bacteria growth and ensure hygienic milk storage.
As a Desigo Reserved member, you can even track the live milk temperature at any farm supplying your everydaily milk.
Why instant chilling the milk is crucial
We've always wanted people to see and experience things for themselves. We have a tradition of transparency:
We stand by our words;
On January 26, 2022, Desigo made a decision to go live with farm streams. This live stream showcases everything from the daily milking of cows to the packaging of Desigo milk, including live views of the milk chillers and their temperatures, and much more.
Our goal has always been to maintain transparency in our methods and practices, avoiding any potential for societal debate or speculation, EXCLUSIVELY FOR DESIGO RESERVED MEMBERS.
